What Web Services Can Do for You:
Individual and Group Training Courses
Web Services provides training and support for the WordPress themes we support and in more general web-related subjects such as web content, information architecture, best practices and social media. Training can be done in one-on-one sessions or larger group settings, either in our facilities in the Communicore or at a location more convenient to your unit’s staff.
User Support Groups
Web Services lead or are a part of various support networks within the University of Florida related to our templates and web content, development and communications. For more information on available groups and how you can join, please contact us today. For the latest on any subject, be sure to read the Web Services’ blog.
Notification of Users Regarding New Services and Features
Content providers are notified when new services and features available in our templates as they come online, both via email and through our site’s blog. This would also include any changes or improvements to existing features, which will happen from time to time as we respond to enterprise-wide needs to expand the capabilities of the site template. Training support and documentation will accompany any of these new additions.
Customer Feedback and Surveys
Feedback from you and content providers is important. It allows us to address issues with the template or with web development within the UF AHC that require more education and support. Web Services encourages content providers to contact us with their questions or concerns, or to take part in our user surveys to give feedback that will help us serve you better.
Toolset Documentation
Web Services provides comprehensive documentation on our WordPress templates and other tools and applications, in addition to UF Academic Health Care center policies and procedures, graphic and style guidelines, and other best practices for health care and higher education web communications. This documentation is available for download from out Help and Support section.
Online Training Videos
Web Services provides training videos that give visual step-by-step how-to instructions on how to use our WordPress themes that supplement our documentation and training sessions.
If you have a request for a video tutorial that is missing from our library, please contact us with the suggestion.
